The San Francisco Cannabis Licensing Group (SFCLG) and the California Music and Culture Association (CMAC) are proud to co-host this evening forum to give our top two candidates in the Mission District 9 Supervisor race a chance to tell us their vision for making a fully regulated cannabis industry, and adult use a reality in San Francisco.
Cannabis is HUGE in San Francisco, one has only to walk a few city blocks to recognize that fact. This November the entire state will vote and likely approve adult use legalization which will allow anyone over 21 with a valid ID to purchase cannabis.
There are many unanswered question about cannabis and nightlife. Where do you consume? How does SF make cannabis part of our social spaces? What about nightlife? Will we allow for locally cultivated and manufactured cannabis and cannabis products to remain a part of San Francisco commerce and culture? Do we wish to create more, high paying jobs for our retail and manufacturing sectors as this exciting industry comes fully into the light?
The two leading voices, the San Francisco Cannabis Licensing Group (SFCLG) and the California Music and Culture Association (CMAC) have come together to sponsor this evening forum to give the top two candidates in the Mission District 9 Supervisor race a chance to tell us what their plans are if they are elected.
